Come hear from Laura LaPlaca, alum of Northwestern’s Screen Cultures PhD program, now the Director of the Carl Reiner Department of Archives & Preservation at the National Comedy Center. Laura will be talking about the mission of the National Comedy Center, some of the Center’s recent projects, and the relationship between media history, archival/curatorial work, and the comedic arts.
